A few weeks ago we decided to pack our bags and head to Monterey to take advantage of one of our last "quiet" weekends. The timing was perfect because the weather was ideal and the tourist traffic was gone. We spent one full day on the beach relaxing, working on baby names and just enjoying the spectacular coast.
There was a great break just north of our beach spot so I thought I would take a picture for all you surfers. Although the weather was warm (85) the water was a little too chilly to partake without a wet suit.
We also took a day trip to the Monterey Aquarium. It was so awesome. We were lucky because we happen to come on the day when they did the live feeding....a lot of action. The jellyfish exhibit was beautiful.

Great idea to take this vacation. Coco and I did the same (Paul and Allison's wedding) when Corrina was pregnant. It's not like you won't take vacations again, but it's great to take a time-out and enjoy each others company away from home. Thanks for the shot of the break!
